Thanks Robert. It was a 30 second long exposure with 10 stop ND filter. No HDR.
Your landscapes shots are beautiful, really well captured.

The Super Tak 35 has produced nice color and is sharp wide open (f2). No PP just resize for posted.
I am just curious hows the Super Tak 35/f2 compared to FA35/f2 or DA35/f2.8, other than the Auto/Manual focus but more of the picture quality. Super Takumar 35/f2 |

Steve, Thank you for the pictures, I see it is the same style as the one for the 35mm/f2 but the filter size is a huge 70mm!!

I am considering getting a Katz Eye to help with manual focus, I have read all the positive review when using on K and M lenses with max aperture. My question is; how about using it with Takumar lenses when stopping down to f8, fll or f16? Would the Katz Eye still be effective when it is dark look through the viewfinder? I have experiments with my ME Super with M42 adapter and Takumar 55mm, when I stop down to f8, the top part of the split ring would black out. And the viewfinder gets really dark that it was impossible to see. I am not sure if this would be the same with Katz Eye install on K10D. I would appreciate if anyone has installed the Katz Eye and using with Takumar lenses to share your experience.
Many thanks.
David

Mike, I do leaning toward the f2 and you have just make it easy for me. :) Thank You.
Andy, if you decide to go with DA, that means I will have one less competitor! :p

Just got a Super Takumar 105mm/f2.8, should be here next week. I can’t decide if I should get the 35mm/f3.5 or 35mm/f2 since I already have the 28mm/f3.5. But the f2 cost at least twice more than the f3.5. And it seems the only advantage is faster. Would appreciate if anyone who has both can offer any advice or comments. Thanks.

My 28mm/f3.5 were also in mint condition, just picked up early this month. And to my surprised, it has a filter diameter of 58mm but with minimum aperture of f16 instead of f/22. All my other lenses are 49mm but I really like the look of the larger size diameter. Look forward to see your photos.

Another photo with the 55mm/f.18, can not wait to try out the 28mm/f3.5 this weekend. I also have the 35mm/f3.5 I got from ebay 2 weeks ago but still waiting for the seller to ship! This is just not right from the seller to takes such a long time… |

Thought I would test sharpness of the 55mm f1.8, I think the letters, texture & color of the plastic shows up quite nice. |
