Either my *istDS is dying or my AF280T is dying, but one of the two is not handling flash control well. So I put the AF540FGZ-II on the *istDS to see what it would do. Lo and behold, good behaviour!! (This is a tight crop of a very nondescript and otherwise poorly composed bounce flash shot, designed simply to test the camera's handling of the P-TTL protocol.)
Coming soon - a test with the AF080C to see if the *istDS's TTL control module is still intact. Otherwise that 280T is not long for the high jump.
(Lens is DA21/3.2)

I'm sure it is, but I already have the M135. And while I appreciate good optics, sometimes handling trumps that and small is beautiful. It's an inch shorter than my FA135/2.8 and makes my SMC-Tak 135/3.5 look over-long and awkward by comparison. I can drop it into an outer pocket of my VOMP with an ME or MX on the other side and hardly know it's there until the time comes to attach it. Even on a cross-shoulder strap underneath the VOMP, it can wear the 135 and almost never get in the way. Those extra four cookies make all the difference. :D

I'll take the M135 and eat the four extra cookies. :p

Images are muddy brown with coarse detail only. :p
I want to know exactly what the lenses are. Short one bears a striking resemblance to my M135/3.5, large one third party, possibly even a one touch zoom. PK-A type Vivitar 80-200/4.0?

Does this allow full automation, or only manual aperture control?
