These pix are all droolworthy. Kudos to all the photogs.
I use the kit lens as well now and then and have recently invested in DxO software, which I found does a fantastic job in sharpening the slightly soft shots I get with my kit lens, and in the process improving contrast and eliminating the vignetting at 18mm. This works on both Raw and Jpeg but is better with raw.
While the software has limitations, the lens correction functions are unbeatable and I commend this s/w for a free trial at least to see if, like me, you will think you got a better lens.
