The horizontal in the center of the frame is the bridge over the Gwynns Falls. In the distance (upper left) is the old millrace, filled in long ago and now part of the Gywnns Falls Trail which one can hike or bike all the way to the Baltimore Harbor (confession: never done that :p)

BTW, I understand there was some intense skirmishing in this area as the Army of Northern Virginia scrambled to get back across the Potomac after Gettysburg.

Looking across the Potomac River to Shepherdstown, WV. I suspect there was a ferry here back in the day but there's a high bridge now.

The first reminds me of the road to my sister's place in Vermont back in the day. My brother-in-law had an fender-bender with another car on that road and the insurance form asked whether he had had any conversation with the other driver. He wrote "Yes, we agreed the road was too narrow."

A horrible photo of I-95 crossing the Susquehanna River:
Beyond it are a railroad bridge and the old Route 40 bridge. I'll have to go back with the right lens (and decent light*) and do it right.
*The weather report said it was going to be sunny today. :mad:
