The White Oaks are in bloom and soon we'll be awash in pollen. The flowers are easy to miss, given the competition from the Redbud and Dogwood. Also, they're usually way overhead but we have the advantage of overlooking a valley so they're right in front of us. They're not strikingly colorful but for me evoke images of elfin figures in floppy hats and flowing robes.

I think such statements by "many" are silly. The size/weight difference between this lens on a 4/3 body and a fast 90mm on a FF body is considerable. More importantly, on a system basis--not a one lens/body comparison--the difference is very meaningful.

The Hibiscus persevere notwithstanding assaults by the deer and some mysterious insect which turns the leaves to lace.
