Well it might be reflection:) I had only SMC version of it in my hands, and it had rather black matte finish-that might be reflection if HD version has more glossy black outer painting.

That was my first thought but LTD70 HD don't have that silver "button" thing on the side.

As far as Ricoh just confirm that new primes are indeed comming in 2017 and not later- I'm good.
Aps-c wide angle zoom is on the roadmap at least since 2013, and still all we get is only another delay by each year roadmap update.

Yeah, but zooms have almost always quite short throw, when macro scale-it takes around 1/3rd or even half of the whole focusing range, if you can limit that range-it gives you at least half the time to get things in focus. In some cases it matters.
I've tried 100WR vs tammy 90 with limiter engaged-even with slower speed torque AF, it got from limited 1,5 meter to infinity faster than 100WR got even out from macro range.Of course it was just for fun test, but I would like that feature to return to every macro lens they will release, and build quality to improve- DFA50&100 are in almost DAL kit lenses quality build, or even worse in my opinion(I had the DFA 50, it started to get barrel wobble after few weeks of use-sold it).

If D-FA 50 macro gets build quality update-like the "unlimited" 100WR got updated from D FA 100 macro- I will be first to buy it. But its not fast enough to replace FA50, and definetly no better in terms of AF speed, with its preety useless "clamp" mode, focus limiter would be way better(like older FA macros used to be,or tammy 90/2.8).

FA50/1.4 is old, loud and does not stand to current standards especialy with CA handling. 55* has great optics but is prone to SDM failure, and its accuracy and af speed even with K-1 is so so. This is why its harder to get used Sigma 50/1.4 HSM in good shape. New standard around 50 prime is needed.Of course same thing for wide angle primes- we need them same as new standard lenses.

Distance scale window can be on the oposite side of that lenses, but it also might be only mockup prototype, not realy working lens on that picture.

To be honest they look very alike tamrons SP series 85 and 45, just without that silver ring around mount and with other type rubber rings.I had both of that new Tamron lenses im my hands, and size of two "mystery lenses" on that picture seems almost the same
