In Germany we had a similar survey.

One member of the pentaxian forum had shutter failure on his K30.
14 month after the repair (change of aperture block) the same problem appeared again.

K30, backup, Ser. Nr. 4370xxx purchased Dec. 14: , shuttercount 19635: Shutter failure

Friend of mine in Tuscon: K30, similar age, shuttercount 6500: Shutter failure.
