I would say technique is OK just a few quick tweaks in PP can make a difference. ;)

In each case... an increase to the exposure of about +1.95 stops, boost blacks, whites, shadows a bit and level up the rings horizontally, would be where I'd start from, then a bit of sharpening and noise reduction. :cool:
