As documented in the "V6 Compatibility" thread , the Pentax (and Nikon) version of the Metz 52 AF-1 are not supported by the V6 w.r.t. remote power control.
Unfortunately, flash models for different systems differ and there is no digital protocol support for Pentax (yet). If a flash supports analogue TTL then it is likely that it will work with the V6, but digital only versions currently only work for Canon and Nikon (in many, but not all cases).
