Well, with my knees, taking low down shots is a real pain. I have to attach an HDMI field monitor. A twisty screen solves the problem pretty well. Less clutter and fuss, less batteries to charge. What's not to like?

Actually forgot to add to my wishlist, which is growing by the minute: twisty screen and tethering.

Lolz. I agree 4K unlikely. 10fps not beyond Pentax I think though. I don't care too much. I think 8fps is plenty in reality. If it could be fully exploited. C-AF and write buffer are the bigger limitations. ---------- Post added 05-28-16 at 09:11 AM ----------
Indeed. K-1 was a booboo on several levels. It causes much confusion with the pre-existing K-01, and blocks the APS-C line's progression. Seeing as it's a new line in full frame cameras they could really have come up with something a little different. Maybe a KF-1 for example? Just sayin.[COLOR="Silver"] ---------- Post added 05-28-16 at 09:11 AM ---------- |

Yes that too. Perhaps an integrated flash trigger and wifi, whilst we're at it.
Oh and for them to get rid of cross-processing and filter effects clutter.

Hi. I am wondering where Pentax moves next in high-end APS-C cameras. Will there be a K-3 iii? I have seen some spurious rumors on youtube, but nothing to confirm them. Or will Pentax go for a redesigned brand new flagship APS-C camera. I have no idea what they could call it. They seem to have burnt the bridges in naming the K-1 the K-1. The K-2? I'd Iike to see 24MP, 10 fps, 4K video etc. etc. Does anyone have any idea?
