My way of reducing motion blur well, cheating it really. Vivitar 135mm F2.8 Kominie first version. Shot around F5.6 I think.
Owl courtesy of my late Father-in-law, he would have appreciated my having it in my garden, loved his garden ornaments.

This swan rose up out of the water to tease me about his magnificent wingspan.....so I missed getting all of his head in. Mind you it looks like his ablutions were a bit lax this morning, I can see the bits he missed!

My mistake, looking at the exif data I misread it as you using the 1st dl this morning. I really should read up on exif data. Hope you are enjoying some of your manual focus lenses results on the K-5 and K-3.

You might need to up your shutter speed, maybe by upping your ISO to 400. It looks to me that you have some camera shake rather than an out of focus image. (Or rest it on the balcony somehow). You seem to be in the right place for some great shots!

Poor image........poor wingspan!
Well it is (they are) a Duck(s). Why the Duck showing off his wingspan is a bit lacking is one for the experts, I can only conjecture that it is either and escaped domestic Duck or a Mutant! Or maybe a juvenile that thinks it's fashionable to be so little endowed.
Is it a Mallard? https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Mallard/id added as per the suggestion from the original poster.
Taken at Riverside Park, Southampton, England and yes we do have Ducks with wings bigger than that though I doubt we can compete with the Ducks over the water.
