DP Review puts K-1 Mark II as second worst camera of 2018

A couple of points:
1. According to photons to photos the competition to Pentax (apsc and ff) don't apply noise reduction. If they do it's beyond iso 51200. Previous Pentax models also use nr beyond the competition.
2. Pentax relies on reviewers figuring it all out themselves. Which they fail to do.
3. Pentax rules the IQ game, particularly considering pixel shift.
4. All cameras have great IQ. This means other factors will become more important, size, handling, workflow, video. The IQ differences are barely detectable outside labs (reviewers don't have labs)
5. Gearheads and reviewers clearly can't understand the concept of mid life update of a body. I think it's a great idea. A "rolling" camera (as in rolling linux distro) would be a great idea. Every six months or so a new release with tiny upgrades.
6. The KP was not well recieved, even on pentaxforums.com, because few could wrap their heads around the product. It didn't fit the gearhead release pattern. The whole "flagship" drama was hilarious. Some reviewers fail to understand the K-1 II as many fail to understand the KP.
7. The Pentax value proposition is being undermined by the release speed, and pricing, of the competition. The second hand market is full of A7R's, fujinon lenses, fujifilm bodies at pretty attractive prices considering how much they are new.
8. The lack of lenses for Pentax ff is a serious issue. It's not about covering fl's it's about having lenses that fit a variety of users.

I've not moved to ff. I really don't need ff but have considered and would have bought a K-1 if there were any lenses that interest me available. There simply aren't any silent wide to normal "slow" autofocus primes for Pentax. Pentax apsc is great although i wish the wider angle ltd primes would have better edge performance in exchange for slightly larger size. Aperture of the ltds are very well judged imho.

Some of the above is OT from the thread start but relates to various comments along the way.
