Seriously, if I was closer I'd consider it!!! Is that T-shirt nice? Hmmm... that is a tough decision... :confused:
However, that's ~ 4 fill ups each way, and I've got ~8000 acres to play in this coming week at a Wildlife National Refuge that's just 130 miles away.
I'll be interested in AZ next year if you think you might head out that way...

Thanks Chip, but where I am going, it's much closer and very heavily populated with birding opps. Not to hijack Brendan's post, but I posted an invite for next week under Gatherings, Events and Photo Trips... It's more for folks in my area, not anything more... but by next year, I'm going to lead a session over there as I become more familiar with the area. Otherwise if Maryland was closer, I'd be in... :)

Hey Brendan,
I just checked the drive directions to Maryland - the coastal area, correct? If that's where it is then yikes... that is definitely a drive - it's over 1200 miles each way! A straight shot across to Greenville, NC is 1168 miles one way.
Actually I am on vacation from June 27th to July 5th. I am considering heading over to some of the biggest Cypress swamps and birding wildlife refuges in the state. I am also considering tying into some rare birding opps.
