Some fairly decent sized moth resting near the top of a hill in the West Scottish Highlands. Unfortunately Flickr has muddied some of the details. Shot with the Vivitar 28mm MC Close Focus at 1:5 ratio, though with a fair bit of cropping.

Pentax K-5 with Vivitar 28mm 1:2.8 MC Close Focus. Having not used this lens in a fair while, I'd forgotten just how much sharper it is than all of my zooms. Such a versatile lens on the K-5.

Aye, I was trying the Sigma 15mm fisheye with an extension tube. It's a real struggle to avoid knocking the subject with the front element, and not actually getting in front of the light. Something to work on though. :)

I agree with wpresto, really good job with the locust. Plane of focus has lined up well, and the background works nicely.
