Congratulations on this work! Since the sensor floats for the shake reduction, there's not an easy way to add a cold-finger for astrophotography work.

Regarding the filters, I would suggest looking at the IDAS HEUIB-II filter for modified cameras. It does not work directly on the sensor because of reflections within the filter, but it works very well on the end of the lens.

Another filter that works well for full spectrum cameras is the B+W 486. It allows the Ha wavelength through (without NIR) and has a hard cutoff above 400 nm, helping to reduce purple halos around stars.

I've used the 67 medium format lenses with the kmount converter and played with filters within that assembly (I think a 52mm filter screws into threads inside). This allows experimentation with different filters and the impact on infinity focus.
