I've only shot astrophotos with it so far excepting this Shasta picture. I like the close focus and the flatness of the field. It's crisp to the edges.

I will take more astrophotos with it soon and finish the roll that's in the camera.

Yes, even though she had to blink once. I made sure she could hold the pose before opening the shutter. At the short focal length, small movements are barely visible anyhow.

Acros 100 on Pentax 67 with S-M-C Takumar 6X7 55mm f/3.5 lens at F22. Exposure is 15 seconds metered at the edge of the roots. Wanted the high F stop to give large depth of field. Had to use the super wide angle to show as much of the root as possible.

Rebecca and Stump by S Migol, on Flickr

Developed in Xtol 1:1 for 10 minutes at 68F. Scanned with Epson V700 at 3200 DPI and 16 bit grey. Passed through LR 3 to retouch a little for dust. The negative shows root structure in the darkest parts that are lost in the scan.

I really like the second picture with the water going over the dam. I like how you've made the image darker. A real contrast to the first shot. It's good to see both so that you can identify how lighting changes over the course of an afternoon.

Thanks for the reminder - I had made an edit in LR and reuploaded to Flickr and it does not keep the same link.

This is a shot done on expired Kodak TMax shot with sunny 16 rule and bumped up 2 stops for backlit subjects. The battery on my lightmeter died earlier in the afternoon and I had to guess.

Inflatable Godzilla by S Migol, on Flickr

Taken with the Pentax 67 with S-M-C Takumar 6X7 55mm f/3.5 lens. Scanned with a Pentax K10D using the SMC PENTAX-DA 1:2.8 35mm Macro Limited lens on a light table illuminated with the AF 540 FGZ strobe in PTTL mode. Flipped in Lightroom 3 and contrast adjusted with point curves.

Here's my first-ever medium format shot.

First Medium Shot by S Migol, on Flickr

I just wanted to see how the lens focused and what I could show with mid-day lighting in November. This was before the rainy season, so the shovel was still dry and polished and not caked with mud as it is now.
I'm really pleased to see how much detail is hiding in the shadow and how the shovel really displays the scratches that were invisible in color.
