Someone posted something which I replied to but they then deleted their post making my orphan post look daft. I couldn't delete it from Tapatalk so edited it to say "ignore" [emoji3]

Just tried calibration on my Mefoto Globetrotter with the legs retracted and in some ways it is actually easier than without the tripod. By holding the legs the camera can be moved more smoothly through the motions. This will be my method from now on. [emoji3]

I have often wondered about this but how would you do the calibration on a tripod? Sounds difficult and dangerous.

Decomposition or deconstruction? I wouldn't want to eat decomposed soup [emoji3].

In your experience how many drops should be added and can you taste the difference? Does it depend on the whisky? I have Laphroaig 10yo, Ardbeg 10yo and Lagavulin 16yo to experiment with.

Don't you have a sky map app? Makes identification easy.

Which part of the sky is that? With good calibration you should be able to achieve 30 seconds with the astrotracer at 200mm on a K1 in FF mode. I can get 20 seconds with my K50 and sometimes 30 if I'm lucky.
