Ok, so I bought the DA40 as a walk-around lens. These were taken the other Sunday. Opened my first album. Some cropping, enhanced contrast.

Early this year I chanced on a DA40 for a bargain price. The IQ was nothing like I ever saw in any of my previous lenses. I still have to learn to SEE, though. Am in the process of streamlining my kit, trying to acquire a DA21 now. Sold off 2 lenses.
This one was taken late at night in the neighborhood we work in. Sodium street lighting. Dimmed the photo a bit then resized. I think ISO1600, F3.2; 1/8sec
