F28-80. On an SF1, with an F70-210. Happy buy. The F28-80 looked fantastic on photodo, and what I've taken with it seems to live up to that entirely. Http://pdx366.Wordpress.com
Completely agree that buying with lens attached is the way to go with lenses worth less than $200. There is a joy in paying someone far more than they thought they'd get while paying far less than the going rate for something with as abstract a value as lenses...or, I suppose, dolls, but I can't speak to that directly.
Even with my F28-80, I'm keeping my eyes out for a cheap F35-70.
I'm also growing on the F lenses. Solid. Manual focus feel isn't great, though manual focus accuracy isn't too far from my Takumars, but the lenses feel like rocks. Looks, likewise, questionable...but growing on me. It would not surprise me if F lenses prove just as resilient as Takumars, if K-mount lasts for another 50 years for that to maybe matter.
