Fuji GSW 690....
No batteries at all, all mechanical, spring based.
Works without **any** problem in -25 - not checked in -45.
I'm from Poland, and -33 was a record few Year ago, and I didn't have been in Russia with Fuji.
And with that Fuji on lets say -30, You fingers will fail, while camera will keep shooting.... 8 frames and good luck to change film at -40 :)

Exactly.
I've tried cameras in -45 (Russian winter at Vorkuta), only those battery ones have very short battery life.
Just have spare batteries and keep them under You cloth.

Hmm - getting to Greenland is no problem.
Problem is how to get to glacier(s), and what permissions are needed.
Permissions = costs.
I'm from Poland, here average salary is the same in PLN (polish zloty) than in Germany in EUR (and 1 EUR = 4,50 PLN), so....
I wonder if gun permissions are needed (on Spitsbergen they were)
I had valid gun license but ONLY on Spitsbergen and from 2011 to 2016 (my polar expedition was 2011-2012).
So for me this is a matter of costs of permissions, eventually rents equipments (like snowmobiles? - maybe?)
I'm little outdated on subject (since 2012).
I've been to Vorkuta, Murmans, Longyearbyen, Inari, Ivalo, Tana-bru from Polar areas....
Last time I was in 70 degrees North of Finland/Norway border by my Audi cabrio car in December/January on summer tires :P
My mail is: lukaszgryglicki@o2.pl, so may be better to talk via email, or skype: lukaszgryglicki
Best Regards.

Hey, I would like to visit Greenland too.
I've been on Spitsbergen for 13 months (Polar Expedition).
Greenland is on my TODO list.
If anybody interested, let me know, maybe we'll organize something together?

I did used IR720 filter but "no name" not Hoya.
I also have IR760, IR850 and IR950.
But maybe only 760 would be usable with film, 850 and 950 are Beyond IR film sensitivity.
I'm using them with my Full Spectrum Nikon D3200 (it have been converted to have clear glass 350-1200nm pass instead of hot mirror)
From Hoya I only have U-340 which is opposite of IR, it passes UV only to < ~350-360 nm.
BTW: I'm dreaming on something like PURE monochrome CMOS sensor - no glass at all, or passing 200-1500 nm, no antialiasing and no bayer mosaic.
Just like this: http://www.maxmax.com/b&w_conversion.htm |

This is my first time with Pentax 67, few photos are actually from Fuji GSW (those "wider") - TMax 400 & Ilford Infrared:
BTW: those are only few of scanned, but I have 67 frames scanned, and I see NO problem with Mirror/Shutter vibration problem with Pentax 67, many shots were 1/30s....
