My Camera Of Choice: Pentax Spotmatic F. I didn't choose this Pentax, it was given to me by my father, but I don't think I could have gotten a better camera had I indeed chosen for myself. Open aperture metering, simple yet accurate meter, native Takumar lens compatibility. Everything I would have wanted had I known what I was getting.

My Lens Of Choice: This is a tough one, but honors probably fall on the SMC Takumar 55/1.8. This lens can be tack sharp, and yet can have playful bokeh and amazing contrast too. It's being muscled out as the lens I use the most by my SuperTakumar 28/3.5 though. Even without the SMC coatings, a fantastic landscape lens.

My Film Of Choice: This depends on what I'm shooting, but in general Ektar 100 or Gold 100 (Kodak) seem to be the best color films for landscaping, followed by Portra 160/400 for people shots, and BW400 for B/W. I originally wrote Fuji Superia Reala here, but on further reflection I'm not sure I like how it handles vivid tones. Also, BW400 kicks ass in it's ability to pick up subtle grey tones, especially compared to the Ilford XP2 (though this could be simply the processing I'm using at work as I hear XP2 is finicky).

I would love to get my hands on a newer K mount Pentax camera so that I could have access to some of the fantastic * series glass, not that I could afford it right now, but anyways. :) Screw mounts have a certain charm about them.
