:) with FA 50 it was clear what the problems were in general, so it was more or less clear what to expect from dfa 50mm. FA 85 on the other hand has quite a status. It would be really interesting to see how good the dfa 85mm will have to be.

Now I am really interested in the 85mm. I can do without 50mm, but an 85mm lens of this quality would be a dream to have. I guess I should get K1 first though...

How good is the motor on the 55 though? I've been wanting this lens for a while, but if I wanted a very expensive manual focus lens, I'd finally get that Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan...

Interesting comparison. Granted, I am looking at the photos on my phone and I am not pixel peaking (that can wait until the morning), but there is less of a difference than I would have expected...
