Thanks a lot MarcusBMG, I was able to scratch away the black paint on each ring at the place of the 7th contact, and now I get the aperture indication on each screen without a problem.

I will experiment a bit more, and try to clean better. It is not the camera or the lenses. All ise normal when I put only a lens on the camera. But why would only the backscreen show the aperture? Exposure is correct also, so there is not really a problem apart from how aperture is not shown on the visor and topdisplay.

In Av mode on the K7 I get longer shutterspeeds with smaller apertures. With lenses without aperture ring or lens with aperture ring on A position. So it works ok, but still I get the F-- sign on topdisplay and in visor.

Ok, yes I now see I have aperture control. But on the topscreen and in the visor this was not indicated, that was my confusion. It is only on the backscreen visible which aperture is choosen. Topscreen and visor say F-- . But at least this works, and I now indeed see the contacts for autofocus are lacking, thx (the three rings have the same contacts)!
This must be the one that also will work with autofocus (7 contact points, 2 contacts on the ring in the middle and the drive shaft a the bottom):

Hello,
I have a set of Cosina extension tubes that seems to have all the electronic contacts for aperture control and autofocus, but nothing works! Anybody knows why? I have tested it on a K3-ii and the K-7. I supposed that it would be ok with all those contacts, but in practice it does not work. It is also strange that on the smallest tube it says "manual focus", while the biggest one says "PKA/AF".
I have also noticed that extension tubes with all the automatic functions are scarce for Pentax, the only ones I have seen are quite expensive and from the brands Caruba and Kooka. Anyone who has experience with use of aperture control and autofocus on those?
