After a longer time I want to show some shots again. These are from the Heaven Shall Burn concert in Frankfurt. Cause there was no photopit, I had to shoot out of the... well moshpit :D (all of you who know Heaven Shall Burn can imagine how that felt ^^).
The first one is to showcase the environmental conditions ;)
The other 3 are all taken with the FA 77ltd - it was my first concert I took it with me. I kinda wanted to test the ability to use it at concertphotography. I have to admit I was surprised how it performed with the lights there, but I won´t take it with me again if there is no photopit :hmm:

Great shots again from you Kenspo!
Awe you make me want a wide lense / fisheye for my K1 too ;) But I´m not sure how often I wanna switch lenses in the fotopit and two K1´s is not an option right now ^^"
Maybe I gonna sell my Sigma 8-16 and get a nice f2.8 wideangel beauty, but right now I´m not quiet ready to seperate from the Sigma :o

Okay it´s time again for some of my shots :)
Last weekend I finally had the chance to try the K1 at a larger festival - Rockavaria in Munich. Here are some of my shots with the K1 + DA* 60-250 from Powerwolf and Nightwish. Did pp on all of them in Lightroom.
I have to admit, I´m ing impressed with the 36MP of the K1, I really have to get used to it and its crop possibilities. Focus with the 60-250 was not super fast, yet way more reliable then on my K5 when less light was avaiable! I really like the combo, but still the shiny new 70-200 is kinda flirting with me :o Well maybe santa will carry one for me with him :confused:
PS: I was shocked non of the other ~70 photographers used Pentax :eek:

A lot? I have made some test-shots today, too. I think its totally fine for normal use.
First three are nearly on infinity, last two are 1:1. Those shots were just made to see the vignetting, so they are not with special motives :o
No postprocessing besides RAW -> LR import -> Export with "normal sharpening screen"

Well okay one more (sry for linking from FB, cant upload right now^^) Pentax K1 + Tamron 90mm 1/800s (was windy like hell) f4.5 ISO800 - the new screen came in very handy here :)

There was no real post-processing at all. Just imported the DNG into LR6 and then exported it with the watermark and the "normal sharpening for screens" option. I can do a few more shots with it later this day at different focus settings :)

Here is the best I can do for today - all images again RAW out of cam -> LR -> export as JPG with "normal" sharpening for screen at export dialogue, nothing else.
24-70 full K1
24-70 CROP K1
24-70 K5
35ltd full K1
35ltd CROP K1
35ltd K5
On both sets the light changed a bit while changing lenses. The 24-70 was out of hand, the 35ltd not. Perspective change in the 2nd set cause of the huger body of the K1 ;)

*_* this sounds like a suitable line-up for the first Pentax FF DSLR! I´m really looking forward to those photos!
