I was thinking just that - phones are just too big and cumbersome - people want something smaller and more pocketable for photography! :D :D

Being aimed at the pro market generally means good on core competencies rather than anything too eye-catching - they've certainly succeeded in the second (hurricane???) - time will tell regarding the first.
