 Tested my Tamron 90mm Macro lens on my K1, Very good combination, sharp, nice color and even on ISO 3200, stunning picture.

Hi, can just confirm this, I did also some action shooting and some say the K1 is not good for action photography, but I had no issues. My settings where burst mode, AFS.C, focus area set to 9, TV and focus priority setting on first frame and focus
priority on next frame.

Experimented with pixel shift on some flowers in my backyard. So much detail in the raw file, it's a pity you loose some during conversion to jpg and resize but still impressive.

Last weekend, we had a street festival here in Lommel, Belgium. It was the right moment to test out my HD Pentax 150-450MM lens on my K1. Boy this was heavy, walked around without tripod, all shots are taken out of the hand.
Amazing sharp.

Last week we went with some colleagues from the FotoClub DOKAMol from Belgium to the motorcycle sport training center in Lommel, Belgium. We had six people on the team, 2 with Canon FF, 3 with Nikon FF and myself as the only Pentax K1. This was a challenge for the Pentax to try to beat the Canon/Nikon guys with there fast action cameras, and as been discussed many times in this forum, that the K1 does not perform well in the fast action auto Focus etc....
Yesterday we had a session to review the shots from each team member and believe or not, the Pentax shoots came out very well, color, DR and sharpness are just amazing. Take a look at some pictures from the K1, nothing was photo-shopped, some pictures are cropped, that's all.
Camera settings APS.C, focus area changed to 9 and camera in burst mode, the lens is the HD FA 28-70mm.
