Thanks. It is also really light, and feels kind of plasticy, which probably also contributes to its bad rep. I don't mind it. I've got the DA 40 XS on it this week, which is supposed to be good stopped down a little. I told my wife I needed a silver FA 31 for it. That didn't go over very well ... :)
It really seems to shine with the D-FA 100/2.8 WR Macro:

Although not nearly as exotic as many of the cameras posted here, I managed to score a new-old-stock Pentax *-ist from a local retailer. I guess it has just been sitting in their stockroom, gathering dust, for the last 10 or 15 years. Shown with the SMC DA 70/2.4 Limited mounted.
