Camera shy Red-breasted Sapsucker. Kept hopping around to keep the tree between itself and me. After about ten minutes playing his game I finally got a shot. :)

Was time to dust off the ol' K-50 again so when this Red-breasted Sapsucker landed on one of our maple trees I attached my DA* 300MM to it and snapped a few off our front porch.

Female Brewers Blackbird. Very common here but decided to post anyway because I think this is a nice testament to the capabilities of the "entry level" K-70 / 55-300mm PLM combo. Pretty heavy crop.
