You could try it with the scans you have. Might give you some idea whether it would be worth paying for those HD scans the next time.

I think I would try converting some of those cross-processed expired film shots to black-and-white to see what they would look like then. I wonder if some of them would look like early Tri-X pushed to a pronounced graininess?

Spiratone f3.5 Flat-Field 75mm T-mount bellows lens on K10D. Handheld at slight angle to the page to limit glare from artificial light source, and therefore not a test of the lens's flat-fieldness.

Little gray tree frogs can be adorable, but when they make their calls while attached to an aluminum rain gutter or storm door, the sound can be almost deafening! ;)

Looks like a black rat snake. Very beneficial to have around. When I worked as a park naturalist, I used to take one to grade school classrooms or libraries. Of course, the ones not used to being handled should be left alone If they are sunning somewhere in the yard. They can give a non-poisonous bite if you frighten them.

Paul, you keep revealing things about yourself that reinforce why I must have found you a likable fellow from my first days on this forum. Wouldn't you know, you're a fellow Diswasher devotee!

My routine before playing every record side:

1) Wipe side with my best Discwasher brush, lightly moistened on one edge, with my homebrew fluid.
2) Wipe side with dry second-best-condition Discwasher brush.
3) Wipe side with carbon fiber record brush, more to get deeper in grooves than to remove static at that point.

Then play side and enjoy.

I have to use a wheel barrow with the two spread wheels on it. It kind of doubles as a walker. :)

Maybe they were more expensive a few years back, or the one I learned of was a different back then.

And it's not very cheap as I recall. Of course if another PFer has the adapter, I'd like to see what they can do with it using it with a Konica AR lens and one of the Pentax dslrs.

Here is one of a rather fungus festooned log ,I shot with the Konica Hexanon AR 135mm on my Pentax K110D:

I have scrunched two of my other three Konica Hexanon AR lenses onto one of my Pentax dslrs for a few pictures, but not yet the 40. The big problem is the very big difference in registration distance, meaning you are shooting the Konica lenses with a few millimeters of extension (I can't remember off the top of my head how many) turning them into close-up-only lenses. To shoot them with their normal capability I have to use them on Konica film bodies.

If there is a Konica AR lens to Pentax K mount camera body adapter, it probably costs about as much as I have invested in my small stash of Konica 35mm equipment. It is easy to go the other way, however. I have an m42 lens to Konica AR mount body adapter, so I can shoot my old Super-Takumars on a Konica film body!

I shot this one with the Konica Hexanon 52mm on my K10D:

I guess we'll have to start a "REJECTED 40 (and near 40) mm LENS CLUB" and disallow the hoity-toity lenses in the other club.

Of course there are the fixed mount Voigtlander lenses on their older folders, rangfinders, and viewfinder cameras--some of which aren't so expensive, though they do not work on SLRs.

Interestingly, my prime lens collection is mostly screw mount. And, with a few notable exceptions, my MF and AF K-mount lenses are mostly zooms.

Having all of those screw mount primes seems to keep me shooting my old film camera bodies (where the lenses show their true angles-of-view better), but quickly popping a screw mount adapter on a dslr makes it easy to take APS-C digital pictures with them as well.
