Shoulder-carried camera bag suggestions welcome

My favorite shoulder bag is a Think Tank Speed Demon. It will hold a camera body with attached lens and a few other lenses or flash. The cool thing about it is that it has a belt that zips out and you can wear it as a waist pack as well.

Hiking Photography - What Gear To Bring?

Beyond photography equipment there are some things that I would never go into the bush without.
1. A quality knife
2. A way to make fire
3. Compass/Map
4. Whistle
5. Signal mirror
6. A military poncho (keeps you dry and will double as emergency shelter)
7. Around 100 feet of para cord.
8. Water container
9. Lightweight food/snacks
10. Jacket
11. Extra socks
12 First Aid Kit

I know this may sound like a lot but I have spent many hours in the woods and have had to use every one of these items. If you don't know what you are doing things can go south very fast. All it takes is one misstep and you are dealing with an emergency. I do hope some of the folks in your group have some wilderness experience.

Should I buy a second K-S2 or a K-70

We have a K-3II and a K-S2. I personally find both comfortable to use. My wife likes the K-S2 better. It is considerably smaller and lighter. She has the 18-50 kit lens on it most of the time. It weighs near nothing.
I am guessing the K-70 would feel similar to the K-S2.
If your daughter finds your K-5 to heavy then perhaps a K-S2 with the 18-50 kit lens would be a good fit for her. B&H has the kits priced very reasonably.

I had some Elinchrom lights about 12 years ago and was very happy with them. I looked and found a model called the D-Light RX 4. These look like a good option as well. B&H has a good kit that included 2 lights, softboxes, radio trigger, and stands for $849.00. Based on the retail price of the lights alone you are getting all the extras for $49.00.
Has anybody got these?

Well, I just checked the website and the price has gone up to $949.00.
Dang!
