I have seen Athentech Perfectly Clear and it did a pretty good job of auto post processing.

I've never had trouble with rechargeable batts on the k2000 nor on the k-30 (via adapter) so it seems like the cameras don't mind the slightly lower voltage.

Has to be a low current issue. That's why they're cheaper.

With so many great offerings from Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc., why do you choose Pentax?

Pentax back in the 60's. The size and feel of the DSLR is familiar.

Had my car stolen last week , 2000 Subaru outback (go figure). Inside was my first Pentax DSLR (k-2000) with a k-mount modified Nikkor 24mm. A great combination that I really enjoyed. Bummmer...

ditto on the M 135 mm F/3.5, Pentax. I have a kmount modified Nikkor-H 85:1.8 that is my all time/all brand favorite (even tho it focuses 'backward')

The 35-70 is a great lens for your price range. The PENTAX-F 35-135mm F3.5-4.5 is also very nice if you ever come across one (under $50 for me). Took mine out with my 'new' K5IIs the other weekend, here are shots from both ends

Strange but there seems to be no 45deg dual split screens on this page. The $20 ebay ones are still there. I've installed 4 of these and never needed shims.

Cheap is ok,, whatever you get you'll want a better one in a while. But absolute minimum requirement = full size keys.

it’s not the number of keys but the quality of the touchsensitivity (harder=louder) that makes a keyboard expensive and expressive.

Too many hoops to jump thru to call this a raffle. Raffle = 10 posts, (bought your ticket), you're in (what's the difference how many tickets are given out.) I also enjoy seeing old posts being commented on.
