Hi, i have a Sigma 50-150 f2.8 and I use it on my K-01. the lens wont focus when I press the focus button. I've read somewhere in the forum that the lens does not work in Live view mode. I've sent it to CR kennedy and tested on a K-3. It did focus normally when it was not in live view but when i switched to live view, same problem happened. The lens did not focus. It was moving back and forth. So, just want to make sure that does updating the firmware of the lens really fix the problem?

Thank you so much guys. Yeah,i'll probably set the aperture to 2.8 on the lens. Make it less anoying. Cheers again.

Thank you. So does that going to damage the lens? I dont like the sound of the aperture constantly opens and closes.

Hi, i just bought a tamron 90. Just wondering, when i mount the lens to the camera, i noticed that the aperture blade keeps on changing, as in it opens and closes most of the time. I set my camera to aperture mode f2.8. Is that normal? Im using a pentax k-01.

I notice that the camera will make the sound when a lens is attached to it. If there is no lens,i only hear the SR sound.

Yeah,i think my k-01 is not normal,better contact the seller asap. Its not really a big deal though but it is realy annoying,and i can hear the high pitch aound when i play the video that ive recorded uaing the camera.:hmm:

Hi guys,i just got my k-01 and i must say,i really love the camera. Just one thing,my camera produce this high pitch noise when it is on. It is really annoying. Is it normal for the camera to sounds like that? Thanks for helping.

Hi guys, I just got my K-5 and im really happy with the camera. I had a Penatax K20D over a year and the K-5 works really fine. I just have some questions about the K-5:
1. If im using manual selection focus point, how am i going to change the options ( the WB, shooting mode, flash) since the 4 way button is used for selecting focus point?
2. When im using live view, can i change the zoom range when im focusing?
3. The sensor cleaning sounds different from the K20D, right?

Hi raider, i just wondering, how difficult it is to hold the 70-200 lens with the K-01? I've been looking for some photos of the K-01 with a 70-200 lens but i couldnt find one. Im thinking to buy the K-01 but I dont think it is suitable for a heavy lens like the 70-200. can you please tell me more about it? Thanks.

Well,i have a tamron 17-50 f2.8 and a sigma 10-20 as well. So,it will probably going to be slower ( i guess?)..so, is ti worth it to give up my K20D for a K-01?

Hi guys. I would like to get some opinion on the pentax k-01. I have a K20D for almost a year now. I wanted to buy the k-5 but it seems that the price is not going down so much. I was thinking to sell my K20D and buy a K-01. So, should i or not sell my K20D for K-01? One more thing,i have a sigma 70-200 f2.8, and i was thinking how am i going to hold a big lens with a small camera body? will it be difficult to zoom the lens?

Hi,i have this lens for about a year now with my k20d and i notice that,what i think is a backfocus problem.sometimes the lens will backfocus at 50mm 2.8 but most of the time at 17mm and above (<35mm or 40mm i guess).if i want to do the focus adjusment
1.what is the focal length should i use?
2.do i need to do the focus adjustment for all my lenses?(i dont think my other lenses have similar problem).
3.does it going to effect the focus of my other lenses?
