Hi,
I still use my Mx4 a lot. I bought a bunch of 2gb sd cards, but never tried a 4gb card. I know the Mx4 does not work on a standard 8gb sd card. I would be very curious if it can take a 4gb card. Let me know if you had success.. thanks

I am split on a HD DSLR. A dedicated HD camcorder is in my opinion the best way to achieve the desired result. Since Flip, Sony and Kodak has pretty much dominated the YouTube pocket camcorder market, and since Canon and Sony have most of the market on camcorders. Pentax could, if they do it right, enter into the HD camcorder market.
I own a MX4 and wished it was a better camcorder. The design is odd, but the ergonomics of it works. That being said, my wish list would be a HD camcorder from Pentax would be a 10+ optical zoom, low light sensitivity, mic jack, hot shoe for led light and some form of gyro stabilization. I have never been a fan of face or smile detection.
Pentax, if you do make a camcorder...keep it simple, most consumers just want to capture memories not struggle with touch screens, hidden menus and pockets full of spare batteries.

I purchased a Optio W60 for a cruise (leaving Sunday), I have spent the last few weeks playing with settings and just getting use to it's controls. I found that when using the 720p video setting it is best to keep the focus on infinity. The camera produces a clicking noise that is very loud when reviewing the video. I think it has to do with the internal lenses. I am interested in how it will work in the water, I am going on several snorkeling trips. I am loaded up with extra batteries and SD cards. (tucked in a waterproof case)
Anyone have any more tips?
Thank you

Hello fellow Pentaxians,
Looking forward to reading all the posts. I own a K10D, a new Optio W60, and just acquired a nearly new/old Optio MX4. I am going on a 14 day cruise on Sunday and I am bringing all three cameras with me...I will be posting some of the experiences when using each one when I get back.
Nice to meet you all!
