Pentax K 28mm/f2 at the local state refuge.
The quartzite shelter, in disrepair, is the left to the hands of visitors’ graffiti, which now is part of the ambience of this setting.
Look up “Gitchie Girl” and learn what happened here, back in the 70s.

December in the upper Midwest.
Testing my recently acquired Pentax K28mm/2 on my K1.
I tend to shoot telephoto, so this is quite a new experience for me.
I have decided the $$ spent on this vintage “Hollywood” lens was worth it!

This nest is directly outside my window at the office. The Swallows are always swooping near the window, startling me several times a day. It’s exhausting.
There’s 4 of them in there. Not yet leaving the nest.
