Crop it into a portrait orientation - see how you like that.
Then play with decreasing the background detail - specifically the corner of the wall.

And to answer your question - yes - I thought I nailed it with a photo of someone in a beautiful garden, and then when looking at the images on the PC, discovered a shadow under their chin that a simple reflector would have cured. ARGH.

Hi Tony, is it a touch over-sharpened or something? The edges on the right seem overprocessed, with black or white lines. It's hard to say if that's just the K100d.

The AD180 and original AD360 were compatible with the older FT-16 Remote Control. The AD360II is listed as working by B&H.I have AD200, AD400, and AD600 strobes with the XPro-P and they work fine. Sorry I'm not much help.

Battery output will be low in cold weather - that's the first thing I'd suspect. Then check the owner's manual for the minimum operating temperature. You may be below that.

Or 3D print one that goes around the outside and insert felt pads. (I did for a large mirror lens). Yes, it takes 100mm.

Which exact film is it? eg Fujichrome Astia 100F ?
As far as I can recall, Portra is negative (C41) film. Ektrachrome E100, E200 types, sure, but Portra was always negative film as far as I know.

Interesting article here on cross-processing the other way (Portra to E6 instead of C41):

Have fun!

Well said and well demonstrated!

That Moraine Lake canoe shot is a good one - mine was overrun by some tourist's kids climbing all over my tripod while I was shooting. Is yours the one on the book cover? I still haven't found that photographer. There's another guy west of Toronto that has a beautiful version, printed on metal.

LX Light Leak Diagnosis?

Cool, thanks for sharing. Usually I found the x-ray damage would fog the entire roll, OR the part out of the canister that wasn't spooled up. Perhaps the high-tech machine that scanned yours is more modern and has a narrower beam.

Good that you brought up the idea - some readers may find it helpful.

LX Light Leak Diagnosis?

Exactly! Another way to think about it: The light leak that ruined your final shot occurred at an eariler time.
Frame #35 was ready to go or had been shot, and Frame 36 #was getting ruined by the light leak. Then you advanced the film, and the leak started affecting frame #37 (non existent at the end of the roll). You took #36, but it was already ruined. Could have happened weeks before. In your example, it happened during the lapse of time between the building shot, and the person walking over to stand in front of it.
If you loaded the film and advanced it to #1 and took a shot right away, the first shot might be okay but it would be busy leaking onto frame #2.

LX Light Leak Diagnosis?

Not confusing at all. The film image frame is in the centre of the back of the camera. The light leak is to the left side of it, so somewhere on the canister side, so that can easily be the door seal.
An easy way to solve this: Put black electrical tape on the outside edges of the film back after loading a fresh roll. Take a few shots. Peel off one strip of tape (eg left side first). Then shoot a few. Then put it back, and peel off right side. Shoot a few more. Lather, rinse, repeat until you`ve gotten all the edges. Then yoù`d know for sure.
Plus, if one seal is bad, probably all of them are going to be bad, so it`s worth doing the lot of them.

Any kind of x-ray source would damage the entire roll, not a thin strip at the left edge of a frame.
