Good observation DW85. Jansen you got them at their weakest moment in the midday sun ,they couldnít be arsed who was looking at them . A good capture of shelter from the overpowering force of the sun , no wonder the the Spanish take siestas. The expressions on the tourists faces tells all . Well done Jansen

Thanks reh321 and ToddK for looking at this lonely unanswered thread ( just kidding) . I managed to get a series of snaps of the sand piper , but most were where you don't want the strong light to fall. this is another of same subject ,many thanks again.

No 6 is truly a wonderful photograph, but I have serious reservations about it . if you look closely at the riders stirrup and just slightly below too the left , I think that's an open wound and probably one of many the horse suffered in the past judging by the many scars on its belly.

Itís # 8 for me , I think the wild horse has run up to the would be photographer to establish his territory. Fair play to the shooter to hold his ground . That wild animal might not have but thereís a sense of mutual respect. The horse just about stopped with his main tossing wildly. Itís a great capture of how powerful these animals are , that are taken for granted
