No it came with no lenses. I bought 01 and 02 used separately. Best deal on Amazon I see is $244.49. Actually not that bad, but given the fact that the second body is a luxury I'll pass for now.

I bought my first q (q7) at KEH last summer. It was sold as new, but it was actually new in the box with zero image count and only $139. Alas, there is no such a deal anymore (otherwise I would buy one more with the reason not to switch lenses in the field).

Indeed. But I used K-01 and q7 for the street. I know what I want. And you know what you want. Fine, there is no room for discussion.

As far as I understand GRIII is positioned as a street camera first. But for the street camera not having an articulated screen nowadays looks like a disadvantage.

Metals (and steel in particular) are great thermal conductors. So alone steel tank cannot keep the temperature more consistent. But if you emerge it into the big water bath of particular temperature that indeed may provide greater consistency.

Tempting. But that means for me five more years without articulating screen. Or KP: five more years without embedded GPS. No, I stay with K-01 and K-5II till the end of the year. Then we will see.

Alas, I do not have Pentax K3II. I have Pentax K5ii which I bought in 2014. I usually do not allow myself to upgrade till five years period expired. And this is the year (as you can guess). Whatever I buy this year I should use for next five years.

Nope. I owned GPS-1 unit. For Astro-tracer it should be OK, but my goal is to have geo-tagging and for that purpose, GPS-1 is not that good. It occupies hot shoe. Each time you need a flash you have to detach it. It needs a battery and you never know when it depleted. Camera you can leave turned on all time: it will switch itself, but not that unit. And it quite a big and cumbersome.

I have some excess of Pentax lens which I would happy to sell, but indeed it has a small economical sense now. But the main problem for me lays in the fact I cannot buy a new APS-C camera. What I want is the camera with the quality of KP and its articulated screen + integrated GPS of Pentax K3II. Pentax for sure can produce it, but for some (probably economical) reason does not want. Especially frustrating is the fact there is no expected future APS-C announced. KP customization is just ridiculous. Let us wait what all this 100 years celebration brings in the next ten months. If nothing, there will be not much sense to wait any longer.

I use a light tracer as a light source. Cardboard sheet with the hole sits on the top of the tracer. Size of the hole is a little bigger than a frame, bot not bigger than the size of the film holder. The film holder is aligned with the hole. The camera on a copy stand looks at the frame. On this project

go to step 7 where you can see the whole set up. Be aware that I pictured the setup in daylight. In reality, I am doing this job at night.

How do you carry for street photography?

On the street I usually equipped with single camera (K-5II) and zoom lens (20-40 or 18-135). For that I use camcorder shoulder bag like this :
Sony LCS-U30 System Case, Large LCS-U30 B&H Photo Video
(probably not the large but medium model). Camera in the bag sits horizontally. Enough space to have hood attached to a lens. Instead of neck strap camera has hand strap. If place shows a lot of opportunities to shoot, camera is in my hand. Otherwise it is in the bag. Getting it out of bag just takes seconds.

So far I have found Kodak Roc plugin can be run on old Photoshop CS2 and modern IrfanView (32 bit). Does anybody know other hosts for that?
