Mistake at developing 120 E6 film?

Hello everyone!
Just recieved my first roll of E6 120 film roll developed at local lab in Riga, Latvia. Was really my first attempt at shooting this type of film, so dont know what exactly is wrong. Some of 12 shots had wrong exposure so they came out absolutely black but some... I'll include a picture of them - it looks like the backing paper somehow got exposed on the film itself. What you think, is it my mistake with exposures or handling and storing film, or it might be the lab who did bad?
Thank you.

Thanks! Well it actually is jpeg file in original, maybe thats why it lacks details and i think I over sharpenned it as-well. It doenst look that bad on a small screen, but as soon as you look at it even on a 15" laptop screen it kinda sucks... need to read on sharpening too....

Hello!
Uploading this photo, to get any advices on anything really. This is post processed. Original was noisy and rather dull, while it was shot on sunset, which was behind me. This is one pic of a sequence taken for timelapse. Didnt like it though at the time, but now was going through all the shots and looked at it from different side and decided to try process it.
Thanks in advance for any advices and critique.

Need an bag that fits my requirements...

Well, being honest, if you bring most of the gear you wrote, then this bag isn't that huge. I usually put a camera with a kit lens on, Sigma 70-300, DA50 and maybe another wide-angle lens, Yongnuo Flash. Not much space is left around for stuff to wobble around. But then i try to put everything very neat, so the lenses don't touch each other while i'm on a walk. And all the small bits and pieces like SD cards, filters and remotes are in the smaller compartments.

Hi. Well, i've got this one - Case Logic SLRC-206-BLACK. Was much cheaper then more popular brands. One might say the quality is not the same, but after a year of use cant say a bad word. Only thing to consider, that it might not look like a regular backpack, so that means to be more cautious in rough neighborhoods. Then again it's not a popular brand, which everybody knows, and carrying a tripod around will bring more attention to you.

This is taken just a few days ago in Latvia, Bulduri part of Jurmala. It was just 20-30 minutes before sunset. I was making a timelapse, while saw this lady going to the sea and i turned the camera straight to her - maybe she saw that and stood there a bit longer than necessary. :)

I am sorry to drop in without being asked, but K10D doesn't have LiveView. I've bought first a K5, and half a year later i bought K10D (supposed to be for my niece, but left it with me, as she can't be asked with all the hassle, what comes with an SLR). So my point is - better to buy a K5 with a good lens or two. I was really pleased, when i bought my DA50 1.8 and DA35 2.4, after having a kit lens what came with body. They are sharper, focus much quicker and main thing - you learn a lot of composition with prime lenses. I am not even talking about the limited lenses... :) But at the same time don't throw away your 18-55 kit lens, if it is WR - i take it always with me if the weather forecast is bad. :)

Lens Porn!: Review: Samyang 18-28mm F/4-4.5

This might give you some info.

And here's a conclusion from that review.

"If you have a digital camera and already own a kit lens then I would probably avoid this lens as it would probably be a downgrade in some areas but if you're a manual focus nut or don't already own a kit lens then it's a cheap way to get wide!"

Color 120 film options...

Well, at least in UK one can get a lomography color 120 film, but i never tried it myself, so i don't know what it actually is. And on Amazon uk still available some Fuji Superia Xtra 400 for around reasonable price. And Fuji Pro 160 NS, but these are obviously last stock. I tried only 400H myself, and i do like colors a lot.

XcSource radio flash triggers with Yongnuo 560II

Hello. I thought maybe someone would be interested in this.
Some time ago i bought these triggers http://http://www.amazon.co.uk/XCSOURCE-Channel-Wireless-Trigger-Receiver/dp/B009WKROPS/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1394449402&sr=1-12&keywords=xcsource from amazon uk. After receiving, i only tested them indoors in my small room, just to see if they work. But yesterday i took a thorough test outdoors. I did use my Yongnuo as a fill flash off camera, so while my K5 was next to flash it fired 100% out of 96 frames (i was making a timelapse). Then i just started to test the distance of these triggers. And so - outdoors, with some used but not too much batteries, it fires the flash 10/10 up to 8 metres, after 10 metre line it is very inconsistent to say at least. Actually it fired 2/30 at 11 metres with direct sight of trigger and transmitter.
So now i need to test it at darkness with obstacles between transmitter and receiver.
Hope someone got anything interesting out of this thread and maybe i will post my further test later.

What lens is for me?

I had Sigma 400mm f5.6 for short time. Cant say nothing bad, especially for the price. So my thought would be, ofcourse if your primary need is not razor sharpness, but versatility, i would get Sigma 400mm and DA 55-300. This should definately go under budget.
Just my thoughts. :)

Will Google Glass inspire innovation from Pentax?

Well, i am no professional, but after looking on those photos, i can't see how this gonna revolutionise photography world. Yeah, those first pics taken on roof while looking down are cool, but i think this is it. So i think there is nothing, that Pentax need to be inspired from. What i think would be great, is flip out screen on their WR cameras. That's just a small idea.

Shutter Release Cable!!

Well, many people suggest not to buy cheapest one, but what i can say from my own experience is that my 4 cable works perfectly. I always just dump it in my bag and ain't really afraid of breaking it. Of course it is not weather sealed, but then if you use it for long exposures i don't think you'd want to leave your camera under rain for minutes on tripod at a time.
P.S
One bad thing i can think of is quality control on these cheap products, but then again i had bad copies of expensive and known brands.

Thank you! I'll try to find that group. Will need, probably, another new account, because i don't use Yahoo. How many accounts on different services one has nova days? :)
With meters and feets on lenses. I do have Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16, and that one has feet on the lens, while this 515 has meters. I'd imagine, that it all comes to different markets they where sold at. Meters for Europe, while feet for UK.

Here it is. I think they're the same. It is just the lens that confused me. And yes, i found a picture of 6x9 516/2 opened, and frame is different - much bigger by the looks.

Hello guys!
I just got this today and took a closer look. I did ask last week about using film in 515 6x4,5, but this one turned out to be 516 B2 6x9. Then i searched the web for info on it, and looks like there is nothing much. Only thing i found really is that 516 6x9 should be coupled with 10,5cm anastigmat, while mine is 7,5cm. I find this strange, so maybe someone could give a bit deeper insight into this one? I included a photo of serial number, so maybe you could make a guess on production year?
Thank you guys!
