the alcohol is providing temporary 'lube' n likely helping against the gunk n grime but is evaporating so it sticks again.....if you have something very fine like sewing machine oil or even rosonol (lighter fluid)...use the syringe to apply a drop from it.....oops apply yer clock oil in the same area as you did the alcohol
have done this on several sticky mirror/shutter bodies most recently on an ES.....should do the trick, granted its not a cla but should get ya going!
sorry it's not a video but the reference i used for the ES and applied to the other bodies in a similar manner https://www.instructables.com/How-to-fix-a-ceased-mirror-on-a-Pentax-ES-Spotmati/ |

the K-500 should have the very same flash functions as the K-x........my K-50 has the aperture block failure so i do not have the fancy functions because there is no using the 'a' position or lens lacking an aperture ring

i don't know how common it is.......but would dare to say a CLA would likely clear the issue up........have had that happen on a 6x7 i got in rather rough shape.....not only would the curtain drag but sometimes did not even open........i opened it up on the lever side n cleaned it out myself n a lil bit of sewing oil and its been working great since......have "cleaned n fixed" multiple bodies that seem to be completely functional n quite few i have shot with.....but a miranda senxorex the shutter continues to drag n quite likely the springs are just worn out on it

oh boy that does not look good.......if no batteries are installed it may reset/fire on 100x or B......the auto or manual speeds will only occur with batteries.......but dang if the shutter curtain ain't hung up/open
the winder may have broken spring and moves freely without doing anything

a spring may be broken on the lever mechanism.......since it winds from underneath why not a winder.....besides winders sound cool n look cool ;)

oh yeah! it's wonderful! ......did not exactly know what i'd get but a general idea it would be better.......there's nothing like shooting with the 6x7 but film n processing cost a bunch n getting something instantly is too damn cool....granted its not the same but way closer than FF...........starting on a crop body then to FF i could see the added what i'll call 'texture' like the dof had dof.....FF to MF another jump of the dof having dof......difficult to articulate but there is just more room/space for whats in focus and whats oof to blend together and work its magic
