I have a worker's - peasant's hands, large, but there are no problems with the buttons. But omd5 from 12-40 is not convenient to hold. And there is an imbalance. It seems to me that the transition to pro optics requires the use of bodies with a good grip. Of course I'm wrong, but it will force me to switch to OMD1.

I wanted to say that if small size and weight were important for me first of all, I would buy an inch or, even worse, 1.17 with high-aperture optics. For me, the beauty of the mft is not in size and weight, but in the possibilities that a great depth of field gives, with an excellent fleet of optics.

When I hear that the value of the MFT is in its compactness, I can't help but grimace. I try to suppress this feeling in myself, there are much bigger problems, this is just a regular touch. Compactness is a way to enter the market and nothing more. This can be a nice bonus. If desired, for example pen + 17mm. But human hands have not become smaller, and it is better to take pictures relying on three points, and not on two and the more on one... The photo system is not understood.

I have had several acquisitions in the last couple of months. Collecting for a new full-frame camera). All are not expensive, but very interesting to me. I'll start with the Canon PowerShot SD890IS. I bought it for seven euros, I needed an original battery and a charger. I thought to throw the camera away. But even so I decided to take a couple of pictures at home. I was pleasantly surprised. The color and sharpness of the lens was a surprise. I installed CHDK, unfortunately I could not adjust the shutter speed, I did not find the same aperture adjustment, I am not sure that there is a diaphragm in this device at all ... But now there is Raw. Which is very good. He's not useless. In general, I'm looking forward to good weather and sunny days to play. Yes, it looks scary, I repeat, I needed it for another. But I liked it so much that I give it to the child with extreme reluctance.
