I always forget to point out that it is a FA 80-320 / 4,5-5,6 SILVER model (I have never used a black model because it is supposed to have some problems both optical and mechanical)

I will, I promise!

I had the K30 sigma Sigma APO 70-300 and replaced the Pentax DA 55-300 and was better than sigma except in the focusing speed, now I think the FA 80-320 is better than both

I enjoy K1 with silver FA 80-320 / 4,5-5,6 with no original metal lens hood, for $ 100 with ebay from Japan in Europe in mint condition, blend f4.5 up to 200mm,

my amateur even better than DA 55-300 / 4-5.8 ED on K-30

I adore two old prisms from the F series on the new K1, the Pentax smc F28 / 2.8 and the Pentax smc F50 / 1.7, my timeline for buying ebay, I had a happy and cheap Pentax smc F 1.7x AF adapter I used in combination with Pentax smc F50 / 1.7 = Pentax smc F 85/2.8 ( not soft ) , recommendation up to $ 300

Unfortunately, no, I sold everything from apsc to finance ff

the DA12-24/4 on the apsc (Kx/r/30/5/3) as was the prime to optical quality (not really in size), but Igor123 was realistic compared to DA12-24/4 and PM7 19-35/3.5-4.5 on the ff

I used the DA12-24 / 4 on apsc, for K1 I bought a brand new Promaster Spectrum 7 19-35 / 3.5-4.5 and paid about $ 90 (all in total with shipping from America to Europe + customs + tax) , nice small and optically decent, but unparalleled with DA12-24 / 4 except price, mainly: good - overall better than the average lens , contrast surprisingly beautiful (and without original plastic hood which in the package), flare can be a problem, focusing on K1 is excellent, satisfying sharpness - especially center, loss of sharpness to the edges, for these money there is no better choice, provides / gives far more than it costs and my recommendation for that money, Tokina and other models I did not use, I hope this will help at least a little

Focus Issues with TAMRON 28-75 2.8 AF on K-1ii

not quite new! but there is no problem in using and "old" because the lens is built with the feeling that it is a tank and optical is very high quality - it offers more than you have to pay for ,if you are trying on ebay can be found 28-80 / 2.8 (allegedly optically not as good as above but it has a perfect range - which is still a little more payable ) :cool:

Here's some way to live with ff K1 on which the Pentax Fx1.7 AF adapter + Pentax F 50 / 1.7 = Pentax F 85/2.8 (not soft) + WS-25 digital slave flash

directly from the card it looks like this:

K-1 firmware 1.5 released

-installed 1.50 at K1 and from the window of the house tried out with FA80-320 / 4.5-5.6 without a tripod out of hand
-assumptions:
f = 4.5
iso = 400
focal leight = 153mm
Shutter speed = 1/160
mod=TAV
af mode=af.s
af active area=select 33
af.s setting=focus priority
hold af status=high

my impression with the upgrade is that focusing has become more decisive (good for the old kit lens), locked from the first = 100% safe in focus,
i did not notice any acceleration of the focus-only that real security in the focus point :o

OK, specify that you are willing to compromise, price / width / speed (and focus, and iris) / optical quality / and for that milimetražu looking for a lens, as simple as can be
if you are ready for the exibition (here in the forum described in detail) then I certainly recommend DA * 60-250 / 4 ED [IF] SDM,covers the FF full width and has a great length and is optically smile Sweet!

if I were in financial ability I would be delighted to have him at K1, in combination with Tokina 28-70 / 2.8 as an amateur I would not need anything more

Tamron (Promaster) AF 28-200mm / 3.8-5.6 LD IF
if that's what you want to put on K1 since you're only interested in the range

I will quote Adam: "Using cheap lenses with good sensors is worse than using good lenses on poor sensors."

I'm just an amateur and I use a long millimeter on K1 FA 80-320 / 4,5-5,6 (silver with no original black metal eyeshadow), I'm happy, sometimes when I have lights on it and af adapter smcF x1.7, combination agrees super:

K1 + FA 80-320 / 4,5-5,6
Focal length: 80mm, aperture: F6.3, exposure time: 1/125 ,iso: 100, metering mode: center-weighted average

Focal length: 128mm ,aperture: F6.3 ,exposure time:1/250 ,iso: 100 ,metering mode:center-weighted average

out of the arm without a tripod
Focal length:320mm, ,aperture: F5,6 ,exposure time:1/180 ,iso:800 ,metering mode:center-weighted average

Difference between the SMC FA 1.4 and 1.7

I have on K-1: smc Pentax: F 28/2.8 and F50 / 1.7, at F50 / 1.7 I put the AF ADAPTER smc Pentax-F x1.7 and i get smc Pentax F85 / 2.8 " no soft "
so on K-1 there is a "sacred trinity" in the F series: 28 / 2.8 + 50 / 1.7 + 85 / 2.8 and I'm very pleased :cool: , much more than with Tokino ATXPROSV 28-70 / 2.8

whether someone compared the Tokino AF 70-210 / 4.5 with the Pentax F 70-210 / 4-5.6, the internal focus looks very nice, and the
equal / same blend in the whole range is equally tempting, the price is lower than the Pentax, whether it was who used this lens on the ff body

I use the combination at K1:
smc Pentax-F 50 / 1.7 + smc Pentax-F 1.7x AF adapter = smc Pentax-F 85 / 2.8,
I'm very satisfied,
better than Tokina ATX PRO SV 28-70 / 2.8 for example at 50/2.8 to 70/2.8

I love my Pentax smc F28 / 2.8 on K-1, direct from the jpeg camera just reduced,
-Pentax K-1
-Pentax smcF28 / 2.8
-ISO 560
-f 2.8

-I have Tokina ATX PROSV 28-70 / 2.8 and it is incomparable with the F 28 / 2.8 candy of lens
