Hi, I think nobody answered your question, which answer is unfortunately no... the HD TC 1.4x is not FF compatible. It would work, but you'd have severe vignetting.
However, it would work, and could be ok if your subject is pretty small on the sensor (I'd say something like1:4 crop at least) and accordingly that you have lots of spare Mpx to crop to your subject, for example from a K-3xyz
Hope that helps...

Edit: Just saw you have the K-5II... so it would not be an issue, my answer was for a K-1 Body with that combo...

This immature dark morph Snow Goose have drawn the attention of bird watchers because it has a pale tip of its beak. It's probably just a simple genetic aberration

(sorry if that is off-topic, but this photo was taken with a K20D and the lengendary F*300/4.5 )

Hi guys, seeking for your votes for this picture I submitted on a local Wildlife Photo contest...

The votes are to be done via a Facebook account only (if you have one), and are only for a "People's Choice" prize that will also be awarded for the photo that gets the most votes! (so we all know this part is biased and the people with most contacts will probably win that prize). A jury will choose the winner in the "Grand Prize" category.

thanks guys in advance for your support !

here's a preview of the same photo from flickr FYI...

Same for me, almost ready to pull the trigger...
but after reading some external reviews, I see that some mention it has too many COMA and Astigmatism aberrations for night landscapes ...

Anyone here can validate it is the case ?

How To: Convert SDM to ScrewDrive + Video

Hi, Thanks for posting this video... I do not have any SDM issue at the moment, but I'd like to know what are the Pentax Bodies that are compatible for the hack ? I have saerched a bit in this thread, and cannot find that info (unless I have missed something ?)

I also read that K-5 would work... but I have a K-01, would that work ?
otherwise, I may check the ads for a used Kx or Kr (I remember reading that those ones should work).

thanks!

Thanks, I had to PP a bit because it was shot in backlight condition, but it came out pretty good nonetheless...

Thanks, when I shot it, it was getting so dark that. Had doubts, but thanks to the K-1, it delivered the scene pretty well in high iso... also, I to be frank, on this shot, I was in the water (walking with water at the level of my hips, and with my gear, the K-1 attached to the lens, on a tripod), and I removed the FA*250-600 cpl filter to gain some light, without adding or replacing with the clear filter (because I did not had it with me at that time). Theorically, the drop-in filter is required in the lens' optical formula, but it came out pretty sharp nonetheless... (I think I like this preposition nonetheless lol)

Ho yeah, this lake is wonderful. If I would move to US, I'd buy a house not too far from there.

I read about that a while back. The monster name's is Chaousarou. I have fished Lake Champlain a lot before, and I never saw it however... but have caught a couple of other "monsters"

Thanks all for your nice comments !
