I can, tell the difference.
For many like myself, no DSLR can come even close for use with manual lenses.

It's an a perfect example of same sensor manufacturer and the only main difference is size and pixel density, it's as apples to apples comparison as it gets.
Click bait is misleading info, this was a spot on- on topic, ( terminology and all).

If you want to get real technical and want the best cropping than FF can be had at over 60 megapixel, no cropped sensor gets even near that.
The interesting thing is, that guy (not guys if you actually watched the video) is primarily Sony A6000 series fanatic, he owns all of their line up and his content is 95% of just that.

Own 4/3's, less then 1", Foveon's, various APSC's and obviously FF, I like them all for what they are and enjoy using them but I'd be fooling myself and others by pretending that cropped sensor's are just as good for low light (superior noise reduction) and ultimate or the best IQ. When it comes to low light and portrait work, there's simply no substitute to FF unless it's even bigger. Even for wildlife I'm using A6600 and only because I don't own A9.

How am I compromised since I own more APSC's then FF's?
My blind test is pretty straight forward. I like what I see in a ff output better.

Here's a video, a comparison of 24mp - pretty much the same sensor (except mp density and obviously size). APSC gives more noise and less detail.

Test and comparisons and stuff you read online....... I'm referring from personal experience and this is not meant as another debate of crop vs FF, I own 18 cameras, six are FF and for portrait work I'd never pick APSC over FF, a completely different animal and I compare it to real life experience not what's popular, hip, or what others debate about. Have been shooting for years with a cropped cameras, once I tried FF I was sold.

There's more to the IQ then just DR. There's no way a cropped sensor is going to have the same look and quality with the same lens than a full frame. Even with APSC faster lens it's a uphill task.

Even medium format 645D is lacking DR when compared to modern cropped sensor, nonetheless that cropped sensor camera will never be able to achieve DOF or "look" of MF.

Different tool for different job or desired look.

My f1.5 or faster group, I

Helios 40(1.5/85) Mitakon 1.2/85, Samyang 1.2/85, Zenitar 0.95/50, Kamlan 1.1/50 II, Minolta 1.4/58, Zenitar 1.4/85, Ttartisan 0.95/50, Ttartisan 1.25/75, Mitakon 0.95/50 II, Rokinon 1.2/35, Voigtlander Nokton 1.4/58, 7Artisan 1.1/50, 7Artisan 0.95/35, Soviet 1.2/35, Jupiter 1.5/50
My favorite by far is Zenitar 0.95, it has the best character and all the attributes I like in a fast lens.

Slightly updated.

It might be faster but photo quality is not even in the same league. My 7 classic (or basic) is above and beyond better then A6600. I mainly use my 6600 for wildlife 200-600 lens.

I got it from my job, my entire family had it.... barely sick for two days, I had colds worse then this (and not even in the top 10 flu's in my lifetime).
The good thing about it, I got 14 days off vacation paid by the state (my regular wages) and all while not being sick.

Yes, focus peaking worked just like it was designed to, no complaints.
If anything, my main go to cameras are A7 series (own A7 classic, 7S and R II), own many other cameras including DSLR's and it's focus peaking that made me mainly switch to mirrorless vs DSLR, when it comes to manual glass and DSLR, it's not a enjoyable experience, split prism and all.

Speedboosters are for cropped sensors. They won't make .095 lens any faster on FF.

Here they are sprinting (40mm manual lens, focus peaking).

Soviet fast cinema/projector lens.
f1.2/35 (no aperture).
Few test pics (edited).
Very unique lens, definitely better suited for low light or indoor.

Here's a page in this very section. The Sony A7 series picture thread -- bring your base, S, and R pics here! - Page 10 - PentaxForums.com

I'm using 50mm f0.95 lenses with focus peaking, it does not get any shallower then that and nearly all of my shots taken with those lenses were spot on, focus peaking and all.
Magnified or zoom in feature is useless for faster or moving subject.

They purposely kept basic A7 (I, II, III) at 24mp. A7 R's have been going up (higher).
The screen resolution and menu is just fine, have zero complains about it. Same with focus peaking, I only shoot manual (and most of it is very fast glass) and have never had issue with focus peaking not being accurate and have owned 9 various A7 series cameras over the years. If anything A7 has the most accurate focus peaking then any other camera I've used. It's straight forward and simple, if it's highlighted then it's in focus, no other way around it.

To take photos you need very few things to control on camera, shutter speed, ISO, aperture control, everything else can be preset and all those can be programed on body function buttons.
I disabled Wif-Fi, have no use for GPS or touch screen. WB, file recording type, etc can be accessed and changed fairly fast as well. As mentioned already nearly everything can utilized on body's buttons, menu can be skipped entirely after initial setup.

Own Fujifilm, Pentax, Olympus, Sigma, Canon, Nikon and obviously Sony, most of my needs are in manual lens area and all in Manual mode. By far Sony is my favorite, Sigma is very close though, very close.

$ony can be addictive.

Own 19 cameras and many more in the past, Sony menu is not bad or anymore challenging then others. 85% of the menu is set once in the beginning and you don't play with it very often. You can program custom buttons and that is all needed for the most part.
