A shot from yesterday from Barker Hill (SW of Western Australia), I had never seen anything like this before, the sun is going down BEHIND me in the west and this is looking east to the Porongurup Range. A knowledgeable friend just informed me this rare phenomena is called crepuscular rays.

Your shots have taught me to be more aware of composition. This one I looked at for several minutes enjoying just looking, there is something just special about it.

The wind died down finally! Spiders are the most prolific around here with some 150 species, this one was previously posted photographed from behind as the Lady Gaga Orchid. :)

Nice detail, love the spiderwebs, i don't usually notice them when shooting macro. The last one is intense! A little dust on the lower right white petal? Not CC but I have posted a few with same after looking at in high rez.

Doubts about posting these but gotta start somewhere. All it did was pour yesterday so raindrops it is. I have my new bellows but discovered with the 50mm lens I have to wait for my ring light because the lens is IN there, so packed it up and went HH.

And this one goes in because it was almost right although not really a macro, I was huddled on the verandah and getting bored with the length of the downpour. Seem to be getting a bit too much noise for 100 ISO, need to look into that.

View from Mt Barker Hill overlooking the Porongurup Range. This was a quick hdr after again trying a 360x180 pano at this location (an ongoing saga in itself). I had just finished my pano shots and the sun dropped over the horizon as I was packing up when I noticed the unusual cloud.

Shot 3 could do with some fill light on the face to bring out her features, the last pic I would crop close as the vents are distracting and just the bricks as the background would focus all the attention on the model. #2 looks a little awkward because of the crinkles in her dress I think. Having the material taught would accentuate her lovely curves. Just my 2c! Good work!

Landscape Lotta Steps

This is about halfway down. My original intent was to take a shot looking up from the beach to see if I could get the whole lot of the steps in, but a knee injury forced me to stop here and I absently took this one and limped back to the top, but I will return and get the original intended shot, be just my luck this one is better! :)
