Error when setting White balance

Please use manual focus and fill the screen thru the view finder, set the camera to program mode, as I feel the mode must have been set to Tv, and the shutter speed must have been high. Further for precise results, I have always set the ISO to 100. These must solve your problems.

Thanks. Fixcinater, good observation. exif was mixed up, my mistake. f 3.5, ISO 100, Focal length 80mm, Tv 125. The first one I messed up the exposure when converting from RAW to JPEG. The pictures were taken from inside an open jeep at an Elephant sanctuary in Srilanka. The name of the place is Wudawalave. I have attached a better version of the picture 1. Thanks again for all to have taken your time to explain. The lens was Sigma 70-200. It was scary when tens of Elephants surrounded the Jeep, but went their way after some time.

Shot this a few minutes before sunset. Light was low. Shake reduction saved me, as I did not carry the tripod. Please do let me know what you think about this family.

Hi, caught these two in a fighting mood, they were too far even for my 200mm focal length. The original was cropped to make the subject look larger.

My Two Cents, Foster,

Vertical format, and a low view point would have enhanced the height of the light house, and also provided more of the sky which actually makes this picture. Since the trees are in silhoute and there is not much to differentiate between their forms, even if they are lesser in number, it will not make a difference to this picture. Any land scape scene, especially shot during dawn or dusk, a tripod is a must. You would have been able to use apertures smaller than f13 which would have given you a very sharp picture. I like the picture as it is now, but feel it could be improved.
Good luck on your next shot.

Suresh, if these lens worked on a Pentax they will work on all Pentax.
But some functions may not work with some new era Digital cams, read the user's manual of the new Pentax.

Hi Friends,

Every one of them good. Specially the one about two Birds on the Bird feeder and the one with many sitting and chirping on a branch with a couple onflight, I see a lot of energy and good timing.
Thanks,
Kris

Some Closeups taken with K10D, Sigma 70m Macro during the weekend. Living room window provided the lighting. Your comments are valuable to me.

Thanks,
