I don't have the pro card but do have the mobi card -I use it mostly for posting to social media on the fly. I shoot raw then card 1 then select shots convert to jpg in camera to card 2 ( the mobi card) then send to iPhone via the card. Hope that helps - ok maybe not but I love my mobi card better then flu card

Yup they are all on same channel, The flash works I may have said that wrong both flashes work normally. Yup they are all turned on. Swapped the shoe as I thought maybe that was the case but got it to work on the old flash with both shoes and wires. There is no direct port to the flash hence the adapter.

Pocketwizard & Pentax 540fgz II help

Figure just easier to show you my question

I can not get my Pentax 540FGZ II to fire using Pocketwizards - I can get the Pentax AF-540 FGZ to fire no problem.

Before you ask I have the K3ii so can't control both if I want to use two flashes off camera. I tried the hot shoe and wires on booth cameras and again works on the older model not the newer one.

Any thoughts would be great.

The Nutcracker is in full swing and I was able to attend a dress rehearsal where they allowed photos. I LOVE this lens and the K3ii

Recommendations for twin-zoom camera bag?

I am also looking for a small(ish) everyday bag. I have a Tamarac Velocity7 I have had I don't know forever and it is way to small for what I want to carry. I am looking to cary my K3ii with a grip 24-70 2.8 / Sigma 70-200 2.8 and maybe a flash. I know the sigma is big but I would just like to have that reach here and there. I was looking at a Lowepro Slingshot 202AW today that I really liked. I like a sling type in general to be honest.

Wondering if some of you folks that mentions bags above could post a photo of two of your gear in the said bags to give us an idea of how full or not full they are.

Love my Tamarac but the K3ii with the grip leave pretty much no room for extra lens of flash.

Thanks in advance

So was all excited but apparently failed to do my homework :(

I have a af540fgz and af540fgzii and a K3ii

I bought three PoketWizardIIIs and was excited to try them out. Apparently as I mention failed to realize I can not simply plug to PW into the flash. I have found a few older threads about this saying I should buy this Impact Mini Phono Plug to Female Hot Shoe Cord 8091020 B&H Photo

Anyone else use that or have any other options?

Thanks in advance.

New K3ii & 24-70 ED SDM WR - loving it

So I was able to go on a little shopping spree and I am VERY HAPPY so far. I have been shooting K5 for 5 years and was ready to upgrade. I did not feel the need to wait for the FF because I am not sure I really need it.

This post is about the K3ii and the Pentax 24-70 2.8 ED SDW WR that just came out.

I have more to learn for sure with the k3ii - I was really used to K5 and where everything was. I did not get the grip for the K5 but I did for the K3ii and very happy I did. It just makes it so much easier to hold. With the 24-70 it feels great.

I have not got out for any serious shooting but I did want to share a couple of shots from today.

Again loving the body and the lens and thought I would share.

I am curious as to if I am missing something.

I recently purchased a K3ii from B&H and thought the Flu Card was include as per the add - Pentax K-3 II DSLR Camera (Body Only) 16160 B&H Photo Video

Package arrive opened the box for the K3ii and it was not there. Can someone else let me know if it came in a separate box or was it in the K3II box itself?

B&H has responded to my email but I am slightly confused on what they want me to do. I assumed they could send me out a card but seems they want me to contact Pentax. Either way I would like the card as advertise as "what in the Box".

So again curious where was it when your order came?

Love the size of this lens. It is a tank - it is odd to me the way is gets slender at the end. Rain last day so not able to get out and use it but hope to a little tomorrow. will be learning how to use my K3ii as well. The lens feels great with the K3ii and the grip.
