FWIW, this is one of my favorite lenses for my 7D. The lens delivers great IQ, punching well above it's weight in terms of price. It is easily the best value Canon lens I own. I took many photos that made very nice medium sized prints with this lens. Good luck with your sale.

In defense of the photographer, he may have been in full compliance with the federal regulations you cited. From the article, it appears he was in violation of a territorial regulation. I guess this is a good reminder to be in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
I would like to point out how reasonable both the photographer and the authorities appeared in this case. I lived in Canada for nearly six years and love the people and the culture.

Just an introduction. After much research, I recently purchased my first full frame camera, a K-1 Mk II. It's feature set, ruggedness, reported image quality, and price point were convincing to me to give Pentax a try. I have been working on my photography skills after purchasing a used Canon 7D nearly 5 years ago. I photograph mainly landscapes and wildlife. The K-1 Mk II is now my primary landscape camera, and I'm also excited about using it for astrophotography. I took the K-1 on a recent trip to Yosemite, and I'm thrilled with its image quality.
During my research phase I used the PF website to educate myself on Pentax cameras and lenses. I've been very impressed with the quality of information here and the wonderful welcoming community. I look forward to learning more from the community in the future.
