When you work for the people your conversations are subject, for the most part, to open records acts in that state. Msrs. Palin knew and knows that. Every government employee either knows that or should know that. In the USA you can go to any government agency, file an open records act request and get email, and many other things. There are tons of of things you can get by filing a request. Some will be redacted and some will not.

Um, my wife takes pictures and it never does it. I just watched her! Other times, I turn it on an press the button before it full "boots up" and first image is sometimes like that. Strange. oh well, I'm sure I've fully jinxed my sale anyway by now.

The first shot is just under exposed. Next shots fine. Oh well. Has worked well for me.

Sorry to reply to myself. But, it only does it after it's been sitting. I turn it on and immediately take a picture. It's dark. Next one okay. It's probably always done it and I never paid attention.

Thing is it's the first time it ever did it. The same day I put it up for sale. I'm just a little neurotic that my sales are all disclosed so I thought I'd ask. I have no idea and the camera has never ever had a problem.

On my K-x, I turn it on, put it on program, and very very as in like three times ever, occasional, the first image is dark. Next picture is fine and I never have any other problems. Is that anything to be concerned about?

Thank you for looking and I ship fast. I have participated in the forums and did not join just to sell. I am selling for personal reasons and need the money for something else. The only thing that I have ever had is I have turned on the camera and the first picture was underexposed but after that everything was fine. I have never had any problems with it. My guess is that I'm just being nervous about selling it because it only did this today that I noticed, anyway. Works great.

But is this image quality you can see with the human eye from a normal viewing distance or only by extreme pixel peeping? I did not see everything that was "bad" or "ugly" in the 7D images nor the K5. It is like the difference between 18 and 16 MP, full frame vs. crop (I think they look different. I know these are not crop) or something else. Is it like trying to judge computer CPU speeds based on benchmarks but you can't tell in real life?

you must have tiny hands :lol:. The 60D on the Canon forums is often made fun of because of it's lack of beefiness compared to the 50D.
