1st pic. I think it could've looked better if you took the picture more from the right and she looked at you. You cropped the hair and part of her arm.

2nd pic you cut her foot off, there's too much space on top and I agree with the window comment above.

3rd the things in the background are distracting and not very flattering I mean I can almost hear the flush :D
also she looks uncomfortable there, too tight and her armpit looks fat.

In other comments I think when working with models you have to pay attention on the makeup as well. For me her face is not interesting I would make the brows a little darker so her face has more definition, maybe gloss on her lips or darker color would help her expression to be more interesting.

Hope I helped a little :)

I like better 1, 5 and 6 where i can see the eyes. In the others her hair is obstructing one of her eyes which I think is distracting. :)

In general the first pictures look busy, I don't really know where to look or what's the interesting point. Sky and background looks hazy and sky overexposed, the woman and the kid are distracting as well. It seems to me the pictures are forced to the right side. Also you might consider cleaning your sensor?

+1 on the watermark
Also wouldn't it be better to shoot NY at night? or where light is more interesting? (i.e. dusk)

Thanks for your reply John,

May I ask where did you buy your lens? If you buy in the US will you have warranty on Canada?

:( I need help.

What to buy, this limited or the sigma 10-20? I love that this one is small but the other has more flexibility. Any comments?

Thank you!
Veronica

hello guys,

I really like the pictures you have posted here. I'm in the process of getting a wide lens and this sigma and the 15mm limited are the ones that are on my budget so, do you have any comments to help me decide?

Thanks!

Veronica
