Hi,you think YOU have a problem? after 50 yrs of photography & collecting I recently did an inventory of my main equipment. 163 lenses, 47 bodies(film and digital) numerous types of bellows and ancillary equip for Macro. Oh and I forgot my19 enlarger lenses. Various meters, flash, spot & incidence.Honeywell Repronar for copying slides, negs to digital also Bowens illumitron for same.11 flash guns,3 studio flash units + softboxes ,diffusers, beauty dish.5 ringflashes and boxes of odds and sods that I have used over the years, did the inventory for insurance purposes was surprised at evaluation...Over $140,000, even so this was not as expensive as either of my ex wives.Just turned 71 and will have to get rid of a few things and let someone else enjoy them, all my equipment is kept in immaculate condition.

Hi,I got mine from rocksphoto and was very good quality and fit, impossible to jam on lens or body,I use it on my spotmatic etc,and also with a M42-Pk on my P1Z etc. You may want to consider Tamron SP lenses though in future and yes this adapter fits them as well.Good hunting.

I guess this was for focusing enlarger for printing originally but i was wondering if it would assist me in focusing on LCD (live view)for 1-1 or greater when shooting Macro.Anyone used this item or any loupe for macrofocussing? Thankss

Hi,I have been shooting 50yrs + and amassed 35+ Tamron adaptalls,I have 3 PKa adapters,2 PK and 2 m42.I shoot mainly Macro or portraits and therefore am in manual focus mode I recently bought one of the $15 China Adaptall mount and was very impressed with quality and ease of use ie you do not need to put lens in min aperture before mounting, much easier to use in the field. $15 opposed to $120-$150 was a no brainer for me.

You just have to keep looking to see one on a lens that is going cheap, however having said that I notice ebay sellers of Tamrons are getting smart and sell the lens now without adapter.Try ebay UK have seen few cheaper than US site.

You won't be disappointed with the 60-300 but then again from experience I have never found a bad Tamron SP perhaps that's why they are so addictive, you just have to have them ALL to be sure.Happy shooting.

Naturally there are duplicates in my collection which has grown like "Topsy" over the past 50 yrs and I have triplicate 01A's because I would not ever want to be without this beauty and of course the amazing 63b 180mm f2.5.I have 3 PKA, 2PK a couple of Adaptall M42 and after receiving my Hong Kong $15 dollar adapter I will be using these as 95% of my work is Macro Flora and a lot with bellows and focusing rails.

Methinks this is FAR to much trouble for todays"everything must be auto and simple brigade" after all, how could they blame their equipment for user failure.

Your complaining about a negligible charge difference for exchange rate? when the aussie dollar is the highest it has been for decades.

#1 to that,it's amazing what some people bitch and complain about,ie. "i just paid $200 for an item and now you are going to charge me $3 for paypal" or the paypal exchange rate is .11% different than the Bank rate,if they don't want to pay for privilege don't bid or make offer, and what to me is the most annoying is xenophobic sellers who only sell to US buyers because as you rightly stated they are losing MONEY,doesn't make any sense to me.

Well I have been shooting for 50yrs and amazing as it may seem I have learnt a few things, also collected a bit of gear ie. over 70 Pentax lenses,35 SP Tamrons,4non Sp Tamrons and a sprinkling of Voigtlander,Vivitar and Kirons, lost count of how many bodies I have.So to get to the point, I was willing to spend $15 to try this adapter and it works for me,so be kind to an old fart and you shoot with your experience and I with mine, incidentally have you tried this adapter or are you basing your comments on YOUR experience.
